1. निम्नलिखित का सुमेलन करो:-

2. पाण्डुलिपियों तथा अभिलेखों में एक प्रमख अंतर बताओ।

उत्तर:- पाण्डुलिपियों तथा अभिलेखों में प्रमुख अंतर निम्न प्रकार है:- 

पाण्डुलिपि:- अपेक्षाकृत कोमल सतह, जैसे ताड़पत्र, हिमालय क्षेत्र में उगने वाली भूर्ज नमक पेड़ की छाल से विशेष रूप से तैयार किए गए भोजपत्र, आदि, पर हाथ से लिखे गए लेखों को पाण्डुलिपि कहते हैं। 

अभिलेख:- पत्थर अथवा धातु जैसे अपेक्षाकृत कठोर सतह पर उकीर्ण किए गए लेखों को अभिलेख कहते हैं। 

 3. रशीदा के प्रश्नों को फिर से पढ़ो । इसके क्या ऊत्तर हो सकते हैं?

रशीदा का प्रश्न - रशीदा बैठी अख़बार पढ़ रही थी। अचानक उसकी निगाह एक सुर्खी पर पड़ी “सौ साल पहले”। वह सोचने लगी कि यह कोई कैसे जान सकता है कि इतने वर्षों पहले क्या हुआ था?

ऊत्तर:- सौ साल पहले क्या हुआ था, यह जानने के कई तरीके हो सकते हैं, जैसे पुस्तकें, पांडुलिपियाँ, अभिलेख, आदि ।  

4. पुरातत्वविदों द्वारा पाई जाने वाली सभी वस्तुओं की एक सूची बनाओ । इनमें से कौन-सी वस्तुएँ पत्थर की बनी हो सकती हैं? 

ऊत्तर:- पुरातत्वविदों द्वारा पाई जाने वाली वस्तुओं की सूची निम्नलिखितहै:- 

  1. मूर्तियाँ
  2. औज़ार 
  3. मुहरें 
  4. अभिलेख 
  5. शिलालेख
  6. इमारतों के अवशेष, आदि 

5. साधारण स्‍त्री तथा परुष अपने कार्यों का विवरण क्यों नहीं रखते थे ? इसके बारे में तुम क्या सोचती हो?

ऊत्तर:- साधारण स्त्री तथा पुरुष अपने कार्यों का विवरण नहीं रखते थे क्योंकि अतीत में वे शिक्षित नहीं होते थे ।

6. कम से कम दो ऐसी बातों का उल्लेख करो जिनसे तुम्हारे अनसार राजाओं और किसानों के जीवन में भिन्नता का पता चलता है ।

ऊत्तर:- राजा अपनी लड़ाइयों का लेखा-जोखा रखते थे जिससे हमें उनकी उपलब्धियों एवं इतिहास के बारे में पता चलता है, जबकि किसान अपने व्यवसायों का लेखा-जोखा नहीं रखते थे ।

7. पष्‍ठ 1 पर शिल्पकार शब्द का पता लगाओ । आज प्रचलित कम से कम पाँच भिन्न-भिन्न शिल्पों की सचूी बनाओ । क्या ये शिल्पकार (क) स्‍त्री, (ख) पुरुष (ग) स्‍त्री तथा परुष दोनों होते हैं? 

ऊत्तर:- शिल्पकार इमारतों की योजना एवं नमूने बनाते हैं । पाँच भिन्न-भिन्न शिल्पों की सूची निम्न प्रकार है:-

  1. आवासीय शिल्प
  2. औद्योगिक शिल्प
  3. धार्मिक शिल्प
  4. सिनेमाघर शिल्प
  5. सभागार शिल्प 
 अतीत में शिल्पकार मुख्यतया पुरुष होते थे।

8. अतीत में पुस्तकें किन-किन विषयों पर लिखी गई थीं? तम इनमें से तुम किन पुस्तकों को पढ़ना पसंद करोगी?

ऊत्तर:- अतीत में पुस्तकें सम्राटों, साम्राज्यों, लड़ाइयों, तत्कालीन कृषि पद्दतियों, लोगों के जीवन-शैलियों, आदि के बारे में लिखी गईं थीं । मै इनमें से सम्राटों एवं साम्राज्यों के ऊपर लिखी पुस्तकें पढ्न पसंद करूंगी।

 Introduction     'Plato's theory of justice' is based on reasoning and understanding which is complemented by 'philosopher king' who rules the 'ideal state'.
