The name 'Biparjoy' means 'disaster' in Bengali. It affected Indian state of Gujarat and Rajasthan, and some part of souther part of Pakistan. It brought heavy rainfall in the coastal areas of Gujarat and Rajasthan. The cyclone 'Biparjoy' was named by Bangladesh.
